Wireless internet access is a fast connection to the internet, similar to DSL or Cable.  Instead of using wires or cables to deliver high-speed access, however, we use microwave radios.  This technology is called "fixed wireless", and is not at all the same thing as satellite internet.  A better analogy would be to liken fixed wireless to the cell phone network.  Instead of carrying voice signals, however, we carry data.      Our business model is built around the concept of not charging people who go fast, instead charging people who "hog the road".  In other words, when you buy an internet connection from us, you will generally be allowed access to the full speed that the network has to offer, determined largely by your choice of radio.  If you get a nicer radio, your internet connection will be faster; but you won't have to pay more per month.  This is in contrast with DSL, which generally costs more depending on how fast you want your connection to be.

    We also try to keep the network balanced, so that heavy users don't degrade everyone's performance.  During peak hours, we have a monthly transfer limit.  You can still download large files and spend hours browsing the internet during peak hours, but we hope this means that during those hours your internet service will be fast and clean.  During off-peak hours, between midnight and 6:00 AM, all users are free to abuse their internet connection as much as they want.
